Queie is a strong lady and called a ‘Bastard’ in popular speech (no pedigree dog) . She was left by her owners and was neglected and abused. When Queie came in our live we had a Rottweiler dog. We were not looking for a second dog. …In that respect, you could say that Queie found us. Ultimately, it was a good match. She has evolved herself, step by step, as a social, affectionate dog who has regained confidence in people and dogs. When we had to put our Rottweiler to sleep, she felt very alone. It was time for a new friend in the house. We chose a different breed, the Rhodesian Ridgeback. That was a good choice. She’s getting older but still walks with us and has fun in life (almost seventeen years old).
